1. What to Bring
A song that you like to sing, either to sing on your own or to play from a device and sing along.
A notebook to take notes.
2. What We’ll Do
First, we’ll talk a bit about you and your experience with singing, why you’re looking for lessons, etc. Then we’ll go through a simple warm-up routine that we use at the beginning of most lessons, and finally, you’ll sing your song so I can hear your voice!
3. How it Works
You will receive a Zoom link via email – this is a recurring meeting and we use the same Zoom link every week. A note about Zoom: it works best if you are able to download the app to a computer/laptop and access the audio settings. Once there, you should see a setting to “Zoom background noise removal.” Please select this for the lesson, and choose “low (faint background noise).” Without this change, zoom automatically mutes singing/piano as background noise!
