Starting in September, billing moves to one simple monthly plan.
Same lessons, same teacher, same time slot — the only thing changing is how you pay. Here's exactly what's different, and what isn't.

How your monthly price is calculated
This lesson count already includes 2 weeks of built-in flexibility for vacation or sickness across the year — so an occasional missed week doesn't change your invoice.
What stays exactly the same

- You can reschedule your lesson with notice
- You can still cancel your enrollment at any time

Common questions
How do lesson changes or cancellations work now?
The basic policy is still the same. If you need to cancel a lesson in advance, contact Dorothy at least 12 hours before the time of your lesson, and she'll help you schedule a makeup lesson.
What's different: if you need to cancel a lesson but do not want to schedule a makeup, that lesson will be considered forfeit. The monthly subscription ensures that your weekly time slot will be held for the entire month, so if you aren't scheduling a makeup lesson, there won't be a refund or discount.
What is the studio calendar for the year?
This year, lessons begin on September 14th, 2026 and end on June 18th, 2027. We've accounted for Christmas break, March break, and all the holidays in between. That leaves us with 36 weeks of lessons - but we're including 2 weeks of flexibility knowing that things happen - sickness, vacations, etc. That means you can miss 2 lessons without needing to schedule a makeup.
What does the pricing range mean? How do I know what pricing applies to me?
Your pricing depends on which teacher you are placed with. Over the next couple of weeks, Dorothy will reach out to confirm your monthly pricing and whether you want to continue lessons this Fall!
